Death Counter Twitch Overlay
A counter for your stream: deaths, fails, push-ups, or how often your chat types a word.
You or your mods count in chat with !plus, !minus and !set NUMBER, or with one click in the OBS dock. One HTML file as a browser source, no bot, no points, no account.

What this overlay does

A counter that sits in your scene and needs no hands while you play: a mod types !plus and the death counter moves up one. Miscounted? !set 47 puts it right. The control dock in OBS has the same moves as buttons, plus a field for the number.
You decide what it counts: deaths, fails, water, or type your own title in the Config Hub, for example push-ups with a goal of 50. With a goal the card shows "of 50" and a bar, and it jolts at every tenth rep. The word counter needs no command at all: it counts how often a word comes up in chat, at most once per message.
The count survives every OBS restart. If the source sits in two scenes, both show the same number. Six looks to choose from, from a light card to a calculator display to a chalkboard with tally marks.

What you can use it for

- Death counter
- Soulslike, roguelike, hardcore run: every death is a !plus from a mod, and chat sees the count without asking.
- Push-ups
- Ten push-ups per sub, five per death. With a goal and a bar, chat sees how many are left.
- A word in chat
- How often does chat say skill issue or your nickname today? The word counter keeps track without anyone typing a command.
- Wins and losses
- Two counters in one source, side by side or stacked, for ranked nights and tournaments.
- Drinking water
- Eight glasses as the goal, and chat reminds you when the bar stops moving.
Key settings
